That's what option 9 was supposed to say, more or less. I need to fix it.

Edit: Done. Recombobulated option 9 to say what it was supposed to say originally.

4. Not the same as asking "will there be an "attack" near the election
Edited on Sat May-22-04 11:01 PM by nu_duer
Or "will there be an attack that gets blamed on aq?"

But don't mind me, I think aq just might be a needed enemy of a radical gang of criminals who require a new all-purpose evil to grow their power.

Did you see that Nick Berg video?

:scared:

"I just hope they don't come over here."

7. So did Bush stage the attack on the USS Cole, too?
What about the '93 WTC bombing?

Can you say absolutely, positively not?

I expressed doubt and suspiciion.

Would they - the bush regime - slaughter thousands upon thousands for mere lies? If you don't know the answer to that, you should open your eyes. Where it starts or where it stops, I wish I knew.

5. The shrubsters will see to it

That some kind of attack will happen close to Shrubapalooza so they can try and whup up the most "patriotic" blood-lust frenzy.

9. Night of broken glass
I believe Al-Qaedia will attack around the Olympic Games, in Greece or elsewhere. At a time of nationalistic outpouring, it may well benefit Bush* heavily.

12. My first thought, too, was that I'd hate to be
running security at the Olympics tyhis year. Not that it's not always a worry, but the world's an awful lot more in turmoil this year than it was in '72.

8. The Neo-cons are hoping for a terrorists attack to save Bush
You should hear what these lunatics are saying on right-wing hate-radio. When talking about what to do about the Bush crises (gas prices, Abu-Ghraib, Iraq, unemployment etc.) they aren't talking about finding solutions, all they want is a distraction. Listen to them and all they ever say is, "Another terrorist attack and Abu-Ghraib would be knocked right off the front pages." That's not idle speculation on their part either, it's wishful thinking. This is what the neo-Cons have been reduced to: hoping Americans die, and in large numbers, in order to distract people from the mess they made. This is a good sign. It means the neo-cons have given up. They've accepted that they can't solve the mess W's made in time for the election so now what they want is a distraction.
