Any news on AAR ratings?

1. What makes you confident? I think that their PRE-noon shows and Marty

Kaplan are going to drag the overall ratings down. They should eliminate Marty Kaplan as a day to day show and reduce/change the morning shows they have to 6 - 8, put Chuck D on the Majority report instead, while hiring Mike Malloy for 8 - 12 in the morning. I also think they should syndicate Phil Hendrie in the AAR markets that he isn't already carried on(such as NY and Boston when it comes here) for the 10 - 1 slot, in leu of the O'Franken re-run.

5. In Portland

we get Ed Schultz in the noon-3 slot. I think he'd do well in other markets; he appeals to on-the-fence types of voters. He's liberal but folksy and likes to hunt (yuck).

KPOJ, our Air America channel here, is a Clear Channel station. WTF?

6. Phil Hendrie is fascist, in my humble opinion

bombtrak, if phil is who i think he is, we get him on mainstream radio and his program is ultra right.

Premise is that callers do not know Phil does the voices of 'guests', guests with outlandish views.

Phil seems to be racist, heard him rudly tell a black caller to "get retrained". Other instances i do not recall in detail. His commentaries are all full RW rants. His visceral emotionalism is also a RW personality trait. the true LW personality tends toward low emotionalism and to use of reason with evidence. RW also favors cruelty, while LW is kind. Never heard a kind word on any Phil rants.

Is Phil currebntly on any AA net feed? Hope not!

We should see AA influence on the natl polls soon, if it truly has effects. More cities would help, especially in swing states. Which swingers is AA in now?

Bomtrak, not trying to critize you, only Phil. I try to be polite to other posters. I have had enough flamers myself, so never rude to others. I despise flamers.

listen to him. Tell me those ratings are somehow skewed or rounded off, somethign to comfort me. The guy makes 33 million a year, and has nerve to criticize working class democrats.
