WTF is a "homocide bomber?" Isn't that a bit redundant?

I go to the Foxnews website, and am immediately graced with the headline "Homocide Bomber...."

BTW, I know about Bush's clever, 5th grade intellect coming up with this term, but how can anybody take this pathetic "news" organization seriously when they propagate such idiocy???!!!

is the new term for suicide bomber, because they don't just kill themselves, they kill others. and the intent of the bombing is really to kill others anyway.

The term "suicide bomber" is descriptive of the method used, just like mail bomber, roadside bomber, Ryder truck bomber, or high altitude bombing. Of course the intent of all these types of bombing is to maim and kill. Why doesn't Faux refer to all of these as homicide bombers? I agree that the usage by Faux News is stupid, and probably intended to placate those who are pro-Israeli and anti-Arab.

but the word "homicide" doesn't imply self-killing. Hmm. Perhaps there is a new breed of Palestinian refugee, an undead Palestinian refugee, with the mysterious magical ability to detonate a bomb under his shirt, kill a dozen other people, and yet return to life reanimated, thus it only appears to be a murder-suicide, but is really just a murder.
