A miraculous story from Colorado Springs....
I just heard this on the local news. My first thought was Return of the King but this is real.

There is a small lake in the middle of Colorado Springs that is called Prospect Lake. People fish and cookout there during the summer months. Recently they decided to drain it. People were permitted to catch all the thousands of fish that were in it.

Lately, it is almost all drained and they have been finding all kinds of stuff. They even found a '65 Volkswagen. People had their metal detectors down there in the mud looking for "treasures'. Today they found one.

In 1965, a local person was waterskiing on the lake and he lost his wedding band. When his wife heard that people were looking for this stuff, she reported that her husband had lost his wedding band in the lake in 1965 and that it had an inscription in it. Today a gentleman found that ring. He said it was still beautiful because gold does not corrode or turn green or anything like that. He saw the date inscribed inside the ring of 11-??-1964.

He contacted the wife that had advertised the ring as being lost. Her husband had been killed in a plane crash in 1989 in Sioux City Iowa and she said when he came home that day, he was ghostly pale. She thought someone had drowned. He told her he had lost his wedding band in the lake. Today they returned it to his wife.

1. They drained it? SHIT. I used to swim there and I lost something too
one night, but I seriously doubt it ended up in the lake.

Can a metal detector find virginity? :D
:D
