Bush Quote On Oil Reserves: Reason #24,889,338 To Hate Him
Here ya go:

"The idea of emptying the strategic petroleum reserve ... would put America in a dangerous position in the war on terror," he said."

Right, dumb ass. EMPTYING the reserve? Who the fuck said we should EMPTY the petroleum reserve, you ignorant, lying piece of shit!

You fucking fear-monger.

1. Was it my imagination or was he so mad that he was nearly in tears?
The clip I heard he sounded even more petulant than usual.

6. Your excess Social Security taxes helped pay for tax cuts for the rich.
Doesn't THAT make you happy?

5. Just stop buying and driving up prices
Edited on Wed May-19-04 03:10 PM by teryang
...you don't need to touch reserves to lower prices. It's a subsidy in support of his energy friends.

7. The real question is why are they BUYING when prices are

so high. Seems like a subsidy for the Oil Industry.

Oh yeah. Buy high is the Corporate Welfare philosophy of the Repuklicans.

8. That quote wasn't as bad as these...
Edited on Wed May-19-04 03:53 PM by MessiahRp
Speaking on his energy bill that has stalled in Congress:

"It's time for some action here to get us less dependent," he said. "They need to pass that which I have submitted to Congress so this country become less dependent on foreign sources of energy."

Wasn't that energy billed just a pork filled giveaway to oil companies? I can't see how prices would go down if the damn thing got passed.

But he said had Congress approved of his plan to drill in an Alaskan wildlife refuge, "an additional million barrels of oil would have been coming out of that part of the world, which would, obviously, have a positive impact for today's consumers."

Bush's plans are the best. Cut down all the trees to stop forest fires, remove all the smoke stack filters to make the air cleaner, kill social security to save it, kill all the animals to get more oil and be best friends with the Saudis so when gas dependency becomes an issue they can help you with your campaign. What a jerk.
