Right wing's true goal

The writer of the May 14 letter "Gutless America" states that American reaction to the Abu Ghraib prison abuses proves that we have become "so sissified and emasculated by the politically correct liberal media that we no longer have the internal fortitude that is necessary to defend our nation." How very sickening.

We were told by the Bush administation that we were going into Iraq because they had weapons of mass destruction. Then we were told that we were liberating the Iraqis. The prisoners at Abu Ghraib had nothing to do with 9/11, and many probably weren't even fighting our troops but were rounded up on word of mouth or suspicion.

The letter proves that what the right wing in this country really wants - but won't admit it - is a genocide in the Middle East as revenge for 9/11.

I had to stare at Laura Bush's mug for about 5 minutes as the
friggin' page ground and ground before it finally loaded.

She was talking about how her and 'her husband' care sooooo
much about ejumication.

Very good point though: time and time again I absorb the meme:
"Iraq did 9/11 and whatever we do to those stinking ragheads
is justified. If I sound like a f*ckin' NAZI when I say that, well,
you're just a p*ssy LIBBBRUL". Point out we've ALREADY killed
about 20k, so how many MORE 'deserve it' before we've 'avenged'
the 3k of 9/11 and you basically hear: "until I'm damned ready to
end my bloodlust, so shut up, Shut Up, SHUT UP!".

Course, in this battle of civilizations, this be all and end all conflict
forever and ever Amen, they JUST CAN'T BE *BOTHERED* TO GO PICK

Although I don't think it's fair to generalize that all right-wingers want genocide, you do make a good point. The right seems to have some sort of depraved indifference when it comes to the prisoner abuse. Too many of these mental midgets (like that Inhofe guy) think that the abuse is justified... and well deserved.
