Coalition Military Deaths hit 900

No, this doesn't included "civilian" mercenaries, workers, diplomats, opportunists, evangelists or other assorted humans; it's just the numbers of actual soldiers killed. Of course, there is no accurate count of Iraqi Military Dead, and civilian counts vary wildly.

American Military Dead are now at 790. I list this last out of frustration that this is the only number that seems to matter to anyone in our mainstream press, even though we stared this oblivious disaster.

2. We're officially desensitized

The poor saps who defended their country against our overwhelming power are just written off as baby-killing Saddam lovers, and the many different categories of innocents are just completely ignored. The only group that warrants any attention is the one that enabled the ugly thing in the first place.

Hell, even this raises nary an eyebrow.
