People say that the cost of gas in the US. is a lot lower compared to other places in the world. Now thats because the higher costs pays for their health care kids! We pay the highest cost for health care in the world. I would gladly pay 3.50 or even 4.50 a gallon if my health care was taken care of.NOW, Would you be willing to not drive 2 or 3 days out of a month to conserve gas? Why shouldn't WE THE PEOPLE try to conserve the gas and oil that so many Americans are now fighting and dying for in Iraq and around the World? YES we are in Iraq to fight terrorists but we are also there to stabilize the World oil market for the GREAT USA. so you can drive to the mall and shop SHOP SHOP SHOP and not have to deal with the American blood that spilled just so you can have cheep gas in your cars. By making a commitment not to drive even for just 1 or 2 days a month we will create a surplus of gas and oil that will lower costs and hopefully bring our people home sooner from the HELL that Bush and Co. put them in. Over 700 families know what true sacrifice is they lost some one that they love. Is it to much to ask of America to conserve the very thing that they are fighting and dying for and not drive a couple of days a month? The Bush family and friends have their hands in the cookie jar of the oil profits they don't want us to conserve because they loose and thats why America looses if WE THE PEOPLE don't! Take Care FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND FOR HEALTH CARE REFORM AND PLEASE PRAY FOR PEACE. The Democratic KID...

The amount that comes out of my paycheck for healthcare would come back to me in salary. With what's left over from the pump, I'd still be well in the clear.

Truckloads of us would be. Or, rather, SUV-loads of us would be. :evilgrin:

Getting rid of the fraudulent HMOs and other bureaucratic crap would save a penny too. Healthcare costs is more than "How much the worker is forced to pay".

$66k/yr for a counselor is mucho wasteful spending too. Especially if they misinterpret you, as doctors are frequent to do. Hell, often enough they don't even read the notes they write (which, from my experience, are often wrong too.)
