Help please: How many registered Democrats in

Georgia? I cannot seem to find this info anywhere. I will call the Dem party and ask, but I want some other source to check, because the purpose of the call is that I am trying to double check some related data I already have from them.

You do not have to declare a party affiliation in Georgia, so frankly, I am not even sure how you go about becoming a "registered" Dem. The Georgia Dem party website doesn't seem to have any particular requirements. Is the fact that you request a Dem ballot in the primary all it takes? Well then all those Repubs who crossed over to get Cynthia McKinney out would now be registered Dems?
