So, What ever happened with that Sarin Gas
Are we still awaiting the final word? Or was it just more premature celebration by the wingnuts, like when we found those rusty shells with "mustard gas"?

They tested it, it was real Sarin... about 3-4 liters in binary form.

But they are (and rightly so).. not touting it as the big WMD find.

I think it's going to take a full warehouse or bunker full of em to even make a dent in that argument.

It's old stuff, and the people who used it, didn't get it to go off right. It's a binary shell with 2 inert parts that mix when fired from their tube making the sarin in flight.

Since they set it up just to explode on the roadside, it didn't fully mix and there was only some minor exposure.

It was the real deal though....seems like the people who planted it may not have even known it was a chemical shell.

Heyo

8. Only Faux News is reporting it this way
A military spokesperson has stated it will take a couple of weeks to get a definitive test. The quantity of material was deduced solely from the capacity of the shell, not from measuring what was actually there.

4. It was a 155mm shell used in an American howitzer
I heard a caller on C-Span say that and he was immediately cut off. The host said he broke the rules by calling in more than once a month.
