I caught foxnews in another lie
We all know Fox "News" lies and distorts constantly, but now they are even lying about Bush's approval numbers!

They totally misrepresented Newsweek's poll - particularly on Bush's disapproval rating.

The question is, how to we convince our RW friends and relatives that Fox News lies about everything?

I'm all for a conservative viewpoint in the media, and I'm sure there is a market for that, but people need to know the truth about Faux News.

:(

-
Remember also that they lied about the number of people at the women's march on Washington?

Gah, it makes me sick.

1. I do not watch but do put on radio in car. I last about 10 min.
Talk radio is full of half truths and the only thing I seem to be able to get is Right wing stuff. I do not mind hearing what they are saying but I would hate to have to hear one side of anything for long. The fact is I did not mind when the GOP used to put a hold on wild money spending of Dem. Now we have the Dem having to put a hold on wild spending of the GOP. Life is crazy as to much power by any one party is.

2. I download archives of 2 or 3 favorite shows each day...
and play them through the car stereo on my mp3 player. Between that and the live shows, I can pretty well listen to liberal talk radio 24 hours a day.

3. The thing that Fox news and their 'fans' will learn...
is that it doesn't matter what they believe. The numbers are so low that you don't need Fox viewers to get Kerry over the line.

12. Fox/Hannity/Rush are just trying to reassure the faithful
They aren't bringing anyone over they are just trying to stem the tide.

Look W's number is 47%. That is what he got in 2000 and that is what polls should was his number in the summer of 2000 (due to Clinton's "doings"). That is it that is all he is going to get, now WHERE he gets that 47% is the thing.

Hannity himself says, "Now more than ever we need you". They are just trying to keep the 47%'s heads in the sand that's all.

4. Those Who Watch Don't Want To Know...
Ignorance is bliss to many. These people don't want to think...that's tiring. These people are set in their ways and want something that reaffirms what they think. There's nothing one can say or do that will change this. Faux viewers wouldn't know the truth if it bit them on their bon-bon filled asses, and they like it that way.

Almost anyone who cares knows Faux is a GOOP operation and what to expect when you see a O'Liely or Hannity. They've both been discredited as anything more than "entertainers".

That said, I pop on hate radio and scan the channels to see the other side on a regular basis...especially now as it's amusing to see how they attempt to justify lies with more lies.

Those who know the evil truth of this regime are now feeling vindicated, now the job is to assist those who are starting to see the light to reach that point...having them watch Faux these days isn't such a bad thing. It just makes the lies they are now questioning even more blatant.

Cheers!

10. You can't change the mind of Fox viewers . . they're brainwashed
Anyone who regularly watches Faux needs to be deprogrammed--and to be real honest, I'm not sure even that would work.

9. give up, Dave
FOX fans KNOW they are being lied to; they just like and approve of what they hear. It's sad but true.
