If Arnold wins the media will hail it as one more nail in the coffin for the Democratic party

If Arnold loses and a Dem wins the media will kiss it off as "California is just a liberal bastion and it doesn't mean squat"

2. I was watching Bill Maher's show last night,

and they had Grey Davis on via remote link.

He explained that the Budget, which is -38b this year, will be about -8b next year.

Do you think that Ahh-nold will take credit for this turnaround if elected.

All I can say is if Californians elect Ahh-nold because he is an action hero then they deserve exactly what they get.

Hope that they wake up out there and that they realize that the polls are total bs.

5. That 38 billion
Remember, too, that it is only half as much on a per citizen basis as Bush's deficit. Any Californians mad at Davis should remember that Bush is adding on the equivalent of $76 billion to their indebtedness, with no real prospect of a shrinkage.

3. At least Jesse Ventura was a small town mayor in Minnesota. . .
before he became governor.

As they say, the higher a monkey climbs, the more you see of his ass.

4. What All Dems Have to Do
No one wants to defend Davis, but we have to get all major figures in party to portray this as another Republican attempt to gain through underhanded means what they cannot get through the normal democratic process. They have to be portrayed for what they are: barbarians at the gate, with no concern for the damage they do to our institutions.
