1. No, that would be Bette Midler...
or Nelson Mandela. CLOSE runner-up: Bill Clinton. Oh, wait, I forgot Jimmy Carter. OK, it's a 4 way tie.

2. I give Al Franken that honor....
...Randi gets second Greatest Human Being alive! Followed by Michael Moore, unless George Saras (the multi-billionaire) comes along and fronts Michael the money for Fahrenheit 911 to go totally independent so it can be released this summer on a 1,000 screens across the country. Then Saras gets #1 spot. :toast: :bounce:

3. It wouldn't matter if it was on 4000 screens
So many won't believe what they see. Right wingers won't go see it.

Moore is a credible filmmaker, but many think his agenda outweighs (no pun intended, I SWEAR!) his intended message.

I'm no expert on the movie (coudn't afford that pesky plane ride to Cannes) but it sounds to me like it's preaching to the choir.

6. My vote is for "Worst Liberal Alive"
She does more damage for our cause than good. It's high time that A.A. drop her and pick up a real, honest, listening liberal.

As you can see, I've had it with her, I gave her a chance, (two actually) and now I'm done with her. Someone else can stroke that woman's massive, underserved ego if they want, but not me.

7. It's a love hate thing for me
She's clearly smart and does her homework. I also agree with most of what she says.

However, she shouts down anyone who disagrees with her, liberals and conservatives alike.

She was also saying some pretty asinine things about the French today (the French always surrender, the French are snooty, the French hate Americans, etc). I couldn't believe that someone as smart as her was generalizing a whole nation of people like that.

I also don't like her cackling idiot sidekick. He's like her own personal Ed McMahon.

Will I listen tomorrow? You bet.

8. I've never thought about who the greatest human alive is
But it aint her. She's a good radio host though.

Maybe Hugh Hefner. Although you probably can't be the greatest if you're one of the luckiest.

Some humanitarian I've never heard of probably deserves it.

9. Good brawler... but...
Randi's a good strong voice, and good at kicking ass and taking names. She makes some excellent points, ind her combative attitude is a welcome addition to the Left right now. It's not one I personally appreciate though: I'm more of an intellectual than a street fighter, so I can't listen to her often without getting really worked up.

My preferred voice on the dial is still Thom Hartmann. The guy's a historian, author of several groundbreaking books on ADD, has worked worldwide in humanitarian efforts, and is a small business owner/former advertising executive. He is also the most capable debater I have ever heard. Most liberal shows leave me screaming inside at the reply the host should be making. Thom is one of the few that manage to reply with arguments that leave me feeling inadequate. =) He's an independent progressive, rather than a democrat, but he's backing Kerry completely this term.

The guy's also darn near flameproof. Listen to http://www.radiopower.org (Thom's on Noon to 3 pm Eastern Standard Time), and half the callers on any other show are republicans looking to bust some heads. Thom brings a few conservative voices on his program when he can, but I'm starting to think they're actually afraid of him, even though he has a fairly large market share.

Highly recommended!
