Bumber stickers observed in conservative N Dallas/Plano, TX
I'm always on the look out for bumper stickers, espcecially in this very conservative area. Best I've seen so far is a "Bush Knew" sticker on a Mercedes parked in a strip center in Plano about a year and a half ago.

A few, but not many Bush/Cheney '04 are to be seen, and the rare "I Stand with President George W Bush," even a truly nauseating "Presidential Prayer Team" sticker with a picture of the chimp, looking more constipated than prayerful.

But lately, I am seeing more Kerry stickers, Texas Democrat stickers, and today the best: Impeach Bush on a white pickup truck near my office in North Dallas/Carrollton area. We will see many more of this sort of stuff no doubt!

2. I've been selling a lot in Texas
Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas are big bumper sticker customers. California in way up there, too. And Today I sold my first REWARD FAILURE: Bush/Cheney 04 sticker!

7. I was at the supermarket at Forest and Marsh in
North Dallas and a woman in a Mercedes had a John Kerry bumper sticker. I told her I was glad to see another Kerry supporter and she said her husband was mad because he was a bush* supporter and he didn't agree to put the sticker on the car. She said she told him that there was a whole lot of space on the bumper and if he wanted to put his bush* sticker on the right side of the bumper to go right ahead, but the Kerry sticker ain't going anywhere! LOL! :-)

15. yesterday i saw 2 kerry bumper stickers
and a 50ish businessman wearing a black suit with kerry buttons on the lapel and a bright red and blue "elect kerry" t-shirt under his coat (i'm not making this up!) i'm in downtown though, which tends to be a little wackier than plano, which more or less has the personality of ben stein.

16. Drive up Central Expwy -- lots of vacancies
Remember when the corridor was just buzzing with decent-paying jobs?

Now it's tons of vacant offices.

People are PISSED!

19. Hey N Dallasite! Plano here.
I'll have to watch for this. I figure if I ever hear people at work openly talking about "Bush is a bad president" and voting for Kerry, Bush should definitely not run again because if he loses Plano, he'd be down to 5-10% support.

I do notice people openly expressing dismay about the war and the way it's going, although I'm not hearing "this was a big mistake" yet from anyone. Many people, after the Berg video, still drinking the "this shows why we are there in the first place" and "look what they do to us and we're supposed to make a big deal about a bunch of prisoner hazing" Kool-aid.

I did see a JK sticker today but it was downtown. Wanted to give the driver a thumbs up but they exited.
