that they have influence over humans... I remember when I went to school, with REALLY weird nuns, everything was a sin. After I turned 13, I became rational and said: up your nose with a rubber hose. I continued having comunion whenever I wanted because I knew they were nutso. Then I left the church... they are too weird for my taste.

seems to be moving in a rather fascist direction. Not to mention the inconsistency shown that seems to only target certain pro-choice politicians. Haven't yet heard of a story with Church officials condemning Guiliani and threatening him with withholding communion. Haven't heard of the showdown with Arnie and Maria per his pro-choice positions... Didn't hear the Church call for folks to sit out the recall in California or vote against Arnie ... Somehow those aren't an issue worth threatening their congregations over...
