Poll question: How low can Bush go? Time to revise your Zogby estimate.
Edited on Sat May-15-04 06:10 PM by TruthIsAll
Remember this poll from last August? Then, Zogby Bush approval was 52%.

I posed the question: How low will Bush go in the Zogby polls? Take a look at how you voted.

Well, the Zogby poll due out Sunday has Bush at 42%, a 10% drop in 8 months. It's time to ask the question again.

My prediction: Bush will toast at 37%.

1. I'll go with 40 for now... 30's ain't gonna happen.
In his darkest days, Bush will score no lower than 40% Approval, in my opinion. Too much invested by his blind followers to allow him to sink any lower.

But 40% works for me!!! How low can he go? How low can he go??

2. I said 38
I just read that Hersh article and it is DEVASTATING. I think he'll even lose some of his hardcore support when this becomes more widely known.

If this whole sordid mess went as high as Rummy -- which is what the article says -- then there is no doubt at all that it goes to Cheney and Bush as well.

This feels like a "blue dress" moment...

4. I agree
After the story is out, that is the beginning of the end for this pack of ruthless war criminals.

I suggest to read the story by Hersh under Late Breaking News.

It is so creepy and ugly, I cannot believe it!

Rating after this story gets out: MAYBE 20% MAYBE!

7. Too hard to say...
The big question is can Shrub make a comeback at this point. If his approval ratings are this low in a few months I say it's Kerry vs. Diebold.

9. I agree with Jen above...
40% is the likely minimum. Maybe a point or two lower, but barring something really big, he has a solid base of support around there.

10. i took that poll and i said earlier
that i think that one will look especially bad for Dim-Son, normally zogby throws in some weird question or as i like to think of it....the liberal meter and in that last poll that weird question was conspicuously absent.
