What a miserable failure the coup d ' dubya is turning out to be...
...hopes and dreams, shattered.
Neocon ideology in tatters,
and all those Cayman Islands bank accounts
fattened like a calves to the slaughter.

1. W didn't promise us a rose garden and gave us a "war president"
whose pre-emptive war was waged for a series of ever-changing reasons, none which make any sense at all when considering the staggering financial cost in the hundreds of billions of dollars, deaths likely in the tens of thousands, and maimings in possibly even greater numbers. Of course the likes of Halliburton will likely reap windfall profits in the tens of billions of dollars, so maybe some good comes from this after all, albeit not cost-effective.

3. I guess that is what I said about under Powell.
Feels like all his friends have a little group of the govt and are running as their plot. It is a mess.

5. And the rest of the world watches, in anguish
at what is to come next from these lunatics. They know they are helpless to stop it. All they can do is protest mildly and hope that the focus is not shifted on them for saying anything publicly.

And here we are, in the same boat as the rest of the world, watching.
