Not to degrade the clown world. This cynical republican son of a bitch really pisses me off. The fact that CNN keep him on pisses me off more.

2. The fact that he is felon doesn't help.
While drunk, he hit someone and fled the scene. Pled no contest in court and got a slap on the wrist. That's justice.

4. No shit?
He hit someone with his car and left the scene? Was it another car or a pedestrian?

I can't stand the sob.

CNN Anchor Cafferty Pleads Guilty

…Tuesday, a stunned Cafferty was greeted by photographers as he went
into a midtown Manhattan court to plead guilty in connection with a hit
and run accident.

According to the criminal complaint, Cafferty was driving a Cadillac
with a New Jersey Press license plate on Ninth Avenue near 42nd Street
May 14th when he allegedly made an abrupt turn and hit bicyclist Billy
Maldonado.

About five people tried to stop Cafferty by running after the car,
waving their arms and yelling, "Hey Stop," according to the complaint,
but the newsman allegedly continued through at least two red lights,
while dragging the bicycle underneath the vehicle.

Maldonado, who was knocked to the ground, suffered bruises.

Cafferty was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, reckless
driving, assault and harassment.

But Tuesday he was allowed to plead guilty to only a traffic
violation:
Operating a motor vehicle knowing or having cause to know property
damage had been caused.
He was sentenced to 70 hours of community service, with six months to
complete it, and a $250 fine.
He also apparently made restitution.

Cafferty had no comment yesterday but the criminal complaint said
Cafferty told police he saw the bicyclist get off the ground but didn't
realize he had hit him.
"I am unaware I was in an accident," he said.

Cafferty's attorney Seth Rosenberg insisted his client had acted
responsibly.
"This was never anything more than a traffic violation," he said.

Attorney Suzanne Holzberg, who represents Maldonado, expressed
disappointment.
"He did not plead guilty to the more serious charge of leaving the
scene knowing he caused personal injury," she said.
"I think he got off pretty easy."

Maldonado, she said, wasn't as lucky.
Bruised up from the fall, she said, he still needs an operation on his
right elbow.

5. Yep. He plays the "level-headed man of rectitude" crap for all it's worth
which is, of course, one of the more galling conservative posturings.

He's a sickening specimin, and he gets away with it.

Okay, now that I'm in a crabby mood, how about that stealth-nazi little stableboy for the ruling class Miles O'Brien?

15. Miles O'Brien is worse than Jack Cafferty.
He's a smug, space-loving sonofabitch. I want to smack his smirk right off his pretty-boy face every time he slips in one of his pro-Bush-Junta comments to an unknowing public clinging to his every word.

Arrrggghhh!!!!!

9. I think Solidad O'Brien shares our sentiment...
To her credit, she will call Cafferty on some of his more Nazi-like statements. Bill Hemmer just laughs along...typical to his spineless nature.

Cafferty was brought on by CNN in an attempt to steal some of the FoxNews Morning Show dumbass viewers.

When's CNN going to realize that they could pull in way more viewers if they offered a polar opposite to the Nazi FoxNewsers?

16. Soledad irritates me too.
She's like the Kelly Ripa of news. Enough, already, Soledad, about your swelling breasts and the perils of Pampers. If I want mommy talk instead of news, I'll turn on the Discovery Health Channel.

Sorry to appear so cynical, but please, baby-mommy-talk doesn't belong on a 24-hour "news" channel.

And if Bill Hemmer plugs Cincinnati one more time, I'm going to smack him, too. And could he just decide between glasses and contacts already? Bill... it's called Lasik Surgery. Look into it.

10. I love the way he reads all the pro-torture "letters" weekday mornings.
When he does throw in the rare letter that doesn't compare Lynndie-n-Friends to Saddam's "rape rooms," he grimaces and rolls his eyes.

Just another CNN shill, who never bothered to go to college.

How in the hell do these people get high-visibility CNN anchor jobs??

13. Actually he has been hating the administration for all I can see

I happen to catch American Morning.

They've all gone the route of Aaron Brown. They're all sad about everything.

He read some really critical letter of Bush and said "You know that's why I love this part of the show, because you can say things we're not allowed to."

Is it possible that he's highlighting the fascistic aspect of these writers.

Bill Hemmer totally GRILLED the spokes people for the army. It was like he had them on trial.

I think they all hate the war.

14. he is bad, but Carol Costello is the worst...
She hosts cnn daybreak at 5:00AM ET. I really need to quit watching it. This past Thursday she had on some fellow talking about bush*s bad poll numbers. She was twisting herself up in knots trying to put lipstick on that pig! The worst was when at the close of the segment, she smiled at the poll person and said... :Well the re-election is still a long way off... NOT election, RE-election!

:puke:

The only guy I can halfway-stomach is Andy the Financial Dude.

I'm tempted to just start watching Katie and Matt again.
