How many DUers secretly want (need) a Bush win?
Thought Experiment: One cannot browse Free Republic without thinking it's all fake. It's too perfect. Too aggressively idiotic to be real... some Democrat must be writing that stuff as a parody, right? Now then, if Free Republic started a forum for fake/parody DU posts, how much would it vary from some real DU posts?

Many DU posters lately seem to be creatures of the nut/masturbatory "left" with less interest in making the world a better place than in getting themselves off, being 'different' for its own sake and settling emotional scores with their parents.

The self-parodists at DU hate America because it's all they know. Move 'em to Zimbabwe and they'll spew the same tired junk about Zimbabwe. Nothing will make them happy because they are mentally ill. I don't say that as a slur, but as a serious description. It's not evil to be mentally ill, but many actions of mentally ill people are destructive. Some DUers have the same disease that afflicts freepers and talk-radio callers. (Due to differences in life experience that illness can manifest itself in rightist or leftist political views, but it's the same disease.) And the saddest part is that DU isn't helping them. It is making them worse, just as Rush Limbaugh's show has made many similarly afflicted people worse.

Let's face it--the conspiracists aren't going to vote for Kerry. They aren't going to vote at all. (Okay, maybe a few will vote for Nader or write-in Pol Pot) A Bush landslide is just what many people around here want, so they can continue to jazz themselves up with lies and self-stimulation for another four years.

There are some of us that will be voting for Kerry because we would prefer NOT to be put in concentration camps, no matter how satisfying it might be emotionally.

7. I thought the same thing, re: the troublemaker line.
I do disagree with him/her, though. The whole
post is bullshit.

"Take what you want and leave the rest."

4. I think there's probably a
similar percentage of mentally ill people in any political chatroom. Politics is a great way to avoid your own life just like any other addiction. I think the lib thing can lend itself to chronic victimhood for sure, if you're into that sort of thing.
I can't wait for Bush to LOSE so I can relax. I'm not convinced Kerry is the ultimate answer, but he doesn't SCARE me. I've got other things I'd like to put more attention on, but I feel compelled to get this weasel out of office to save our country from his RW agenda and flagrant incompetence!:hi:
