Hey..... Somebody tell Dumbya they found the Weaponsofmassdestruction!
It wasn't necessary to travel waaayyy over to Iraq after all!...They're right at home in the good old U.S.of A!..
The U.S. Army on Saturday began burning chemical weapons in Anniston, Alabama,

<snip> After losing a bid to stop the burn in court Friday, Craig Williams, executive director of Chemical Weapons Working Group, e-mailed letters to top officials in Anniston wishing them "luck and God's blessings." His group promotes neutralization, a method that uses no heat or smokestacks and mixes the chemicals with warm water or other liquids. The group has argued that incineration is unstable and uncontrollable, and has been riddled with mistakes at the pilot site in the Pacific Ocean and an incinerator in Utah. Saturday's display, Williams said, proved nothing.

1. We've got a storage site in IN, too...
And the sooner they destroy them, the heappier I'll be. The risk of incineration is far less than the risk of letting them sit there indefinately in deteriorating shells and containers.

3. It's really just a matter of politcs
Georgie Boy coming straight off his re-election fundraiser BBQ audatiuosly commmenting about Gore's speech, "It's pure politics!" Kind of sums it it, don't you think. See we're making an effort to get rid of ours before some lefty reports about the detioration of the cylinders. Gross incompentence!

4.  deterioration?
Oregon's warning alarm goes off sometimes. I believe they've
had small leaks now and then.

They keep talking about burning the junk but it never
happens.

Does anyone know how many sites there are in total? I think
Utah has something?
