KING SHIT THEY BEHEAD AN AMERICAN!!!!

aaaaaah!!!!!

IMHO That is what the whole thing was about. It was all about having the torture of Iraqi prisoners be trumped by the supposed Al Qaeda beheading of Berg.

But can we think for one moment here. Just a moment.

Why would Al Qaeda neutralize a perfectly good oportunity to get the Arab world united against the US by beheading an American and make themselves look like the crazy, barbaric people the US has been trying to tell the American public they are for all these years? Here the anti-BFEE forces had a great opportunity to show the world of US abuse of Iraqis and they destroy that message by "beheading" Berg. No FUCKING WAY!! :eyes:

The Berg beheading is an absolute crock of SHIT!!

Well... It isn't like this is the first time they've done it.

2. With who?
http://www.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0405/12/lol.02.html

(snip)

O'BRIEN: Interesting. All right, now one final thought here. You did a very careful translation of your own, of the statement. And in it, you see no reference to al Qaeda. And yet the official U.S. government translation does. Explain how that happened.

NASR: Oh, I find it very interesting, because out of the blue, there is a mention of al Qaeda on the U.S. government translation. It says: "Does al Qaeda need any further excuses?" Any speaker of the Arabic language is going to notice a difference between the word al Qaeda, which means "the base," and al qaed, which means "the one sitting, doing nothing."

My translation says: "Is there any excuse for the one who sits down and does nothing?" Basically they're telling people, you have no excuse for not doing anything, for not acting and defending Islam and so forth. Whereas the U.S. government translation has this factual error, I'm sure it's an honest mistake, but basically it sort of adds al Qaeda to the statement, which is not on the statement.

O'BRIEN: All right, Octavia Nasr, we don't know exactly how that got in there. We'll try to get more on that. We appreciate you bringing that all to light and appreciate your insights, of course.

3. 1st-OBL then SADDAM, Now Zarquawi? Bush Co. keeps the focus on ..
...who they keep telling the world is the most dangerous terrorist to "our freedom and safety"....

They just keep the fear factor going and meanwhile trying to get America all upset about the beheading (while sickening and I don't condone or minimize it) but that this is supposed to be a shock to America?

I wonder how many of the detainees were killed after being tortured? You think those same people outraged over Berg's death will care about them and their families?

No, they will do what the Bushies want - believe that now Zarquawi (sp?) is the new enemy (if he had a country, we'd be invading soon) and that the Iraqi's (they'll equate the actions of the executioners in the Berg beheading with all Iraqi's now) are worse than us....

I bet if a Zogby poll was done of Iraqi's, they might equate the sexual torture of their people with this...According to a muslim friend of mine, they would rather be beheaded....

4. A crock of Rocky Road shit
It's come out, and quickly, that several groups of "operators" had contact with Nick Berg. Not only that, but they all manage to both point fingers at each other AND to lie, at a professional level, at the same time.

Right now, I don't know what the hell went down except that Nick Berg came back to the States in a box without his head attached to his body. It's an atrocity, and it's all the more atrocious because all sides are still involved in what the cops call "Malicious Abuse of a Corpse".

Tyrants and thugs seldom do things that make any sense. To ask "cui bono?" (who benefits?) assumes there are rational people involved. But recent history has hammered this fact home -- there are no rational people involved in this war.

Pay attention to the news and listen closely to the voice of the Ghost of Nick Berg. It may be instructive to think of him as having died to become like Lot or Diogenes, walking among the Undead in search of an Honest Man.

He won't find any, but his blood won't have to cry for revenge -- it will simply testify to the truth.

6. Mabye because they're nuts?
Al Qaeda may be crafty, but they're also Islamic extremists. They don't think in that fashopm. Why would they attack the United States on it's own soil, knowing it would draw us into Islamic states?
