I'd really love to know more about the Berg/Moussaoui password connection?
A password used by Berg in college ended up with Moussaoui? What kind of password was it... Was it a big password with specific numbers? Was it a coincidence with just a random set of numbers.?. What did the password get them in to?

How come the press isn't beating the drums on this one... I've researched and haven't found an answer to any of this... Maybe I missed it?

1. I heard first on tv, then read somewhere

that he loaned his laptop to a guy who emailed Moussaui.

Also, that he and this guy shared a bus to a remote class at Oklahoma.

Small world.

It also emerged yesterday that Berg was investigated two years ago because his email address was used by Zacarias Moussaoui, who the US alleges would have been the 20th hijacker on September 11, 2001, had he not been in custody on an immigration violation.

A man known to both Berg and Moussaoui used Berg's laptop computer and his email password in 1999 while Berg was attending a university in Oklahoma, according to both the FBI and the Berg family. Moussaoui was attending flying school nearby at the time.

3. Very small world...
So the guy he knew, knew Moussaui.. You think that guy might of been a good bud with berg and perhaps influential with his ideology? Who was the guy he lean't the computer to? Is this guy tight with Moussaui? Is he in Ashcrofts jail now? Was he deported? Seems to me the media would be after this guy for questions?

2. Here's a link to read
http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp_world/view/84899/1/.html

"Nick was taking a course at a remote campus that was near the airport and he was on a bus and some terrorist people -- no one knew they were terrorists at the time, they were just fellow students -- were also taking the bus," said Berg.

"Someone asked him basically to let him use his computer, and he did. It turned out that this guy was a terrorist and that he used my son's e-mail, among many other people's e-mail."

5. Believe it or not, NPR & Asscrack used this today to explain Berg's...
unfortunate delay. Yea, it seems Berg volunteered this incident to the FBI interviewers in Iraq. They, of course, had to follow up, and that took several days. NPR then went on to say that Berg's dad said as much yesterday.

Now, I seem to remember Berg's dad had a little different take than NPR made its seem, but, being the Sabbath, we won't hear from him until Saturday night. Convenient, huh?

6. "had to follow up"? Shouldn't take very long, by the article in post #1.
(Berg) "was cleared in 2002 of having any involvement in the September 11 plot."

Presumably his 'clearance' resulted after investigation for the password incident.

7. To hear NPR tell it, that explains why Berg was held so long...
case closed.

Of course, I've come to have a lot more skepticism of NPR stories now a days.

Here, have a listen:
