Concerning bodily and other reactions prior to Sept 11
Edited on Sun Aug-10-03 09:46 PM by Valerie5555
Was just meaning to ask who here had bodily and other reactions prior to Sept 11 back in Sept 2001 that were either along the lines of anything like rashes, a touch of indigestion or something like being "on edge."

I remembered one day in Sept 2001 prior to the 11th when I felt a touch of indigestion, and I probably could have "chalked that up" to anticipating that "something was up," or maybe it was just from some meat that was bad or old I had eaten.

On edit on a more serious note this was inspired by the "Fear of Disaster" message

On double edit on a more serious note I also remembered feeling tired that day partly because those incidents may have left me feelig "spent" and more importantly because I had an 8 AM class I had to get up rather early for.

On triple edit I also read in that "Fear of Disaster" message how there were actually was the odd New Yorkers here who had seemed "edgy" and more accurately "out of sorts" about a day or so before IT happened.

9. not really, but sort of, here
I had no physical reactions prior to September 11th. Was in good health then, and am in good health now.

However, I had something happen on September 2nd, 2001 that was a sort of premonition. It was a pretty small incident, but it kind of told me what could be coming.

11. I heard the plane on 9/11
Edited on Sun Aug-10-03 09:56 PM by jfkennedy
I wish I could say I was a hero but on 9/11 I was more thinking about voting it was a day to go and vote. I usually get up at 6 AM to vote the Democratic Party line, but I slept late, and I heard a plane fly right over my apartment building and then the crash.

I am the only one in the area that heard the plane and I even heard the crash. I did not even dare to turn on the radio because I knew it was a plane crash. About 5 or 15 minutes later I turned on the news and watched the next plane crash on the news.

The actual statements from other people in the area when I asked the question "did you hear a plane and then the crash?" The two people I asked said, "the plane was on the news flying from the west, you could not of heard anything.” and another comment, "your going to go to a psych ward for saying this." I never did go to a psych ward.
