Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., said there also were some "gruesome scenes" that showed dead bodies, but without any explanation of how the victims had been killed or why.
Lawmakers said the disturbing images included military dogs snarling at cowering prisoners, Iraqi women commanded to expose their breasts and photos of sex acts, including forced homosexual sex.
Hmm. If it wasn't bad enough before, just HEARING how there's been more - MUCH MORE - including GRUESOME DEATHS now makes things far, far worse...
Hmm, two days ago, a sleze disc jockey, one Tom Bernard of the KQRS Morning show, whined about the death of some Berg guy, complaining about how the US abused a dozen Iraqis while a bunch of terroists/cowards/whatever KILLED a US citizen.
I wonder what Unkie Tom has to say now. Looks like we did far more than we once thought. There's no way anybody would condone Berg's killers, but Bernard - as always - tries to justify every wrongdoing the US does while decrying what the enemy does. (Geez, this is war, who is going to be surprised when one of our own is killed, duh... what is surprising by how animalistic our own troops have been behaving, ordered to behave, et cetera... The fact many of them, who are unapologetic and claim to have been under orders cuts no ice - especially if they gleefully smiled in the pics...)
The killing on both sides has got to stop.
