"You have helped liberate 25 million people".......
Well, not exactly 25 million...maybe 25? I heard Rumsfeld say this Repub soundbite again this morning. Have they really liberated 25 million Iraqis? Did they liberate them from the fire into the frying pan? Can it realistically be called "liberation" at this point? Something rings false with this braggadacio.

1. That must be a definition of "liberate" I'm not aware of.
Those assholes (Bush, Rummy, et. al.) believe in telling the big lie, don't they? Nobody will call them on the big lie.

4. The Big Lie.
Wow. It didn't take long for the wheels to spin on the torture issue. I really think I could be in the wrong career.. I'd make a great political strategist. I can guess every move these idiots are going to make. When Bush came out to support Rumsfeld, when he actually made it to the Pentagon, with Cheney in tow.. or vice versa!, I could see the writing on the wall.

New Strategy: It does no good to act outraged over the abuse. You don't want to promise to look too deeply into this.. instead.. to keep Bush and Rumsfeld clean, you act as though you are totall above all this. Blame a few privates for it (even though it's been shown that CIA, Officers and contractors all had a part in directing the abuse). Oh, and stop calling it torture.. we now must refer to it as acceptable interrogation methods. Insist that the photos showing the REAL torture, murder, rape, etc. never see the light of day. It's so damn elementary. Act as if nothing is wrong.. visit the prison, give thumbs-up to the troops there, so that America and the world will believe that it was a just a couple of bad apple privates. It's so unbelievably simple-minded, but it will work.
