There's a spectrum of crimes, and somewhere, there's a point where even suggesting the current administration knew about it, allowed it, or even directed it is simply unthinkable.

Accuse beyond that point, and it's political suicide.

Accuse beyond that point, and there's an army of critics that descend - even here.

It's an old problem and it's been discussed here many times before. But I'll tell you one thing: The bar is lowering, and that speaks volumes.
