It just feels good to return to my peace roots sometimes. War is not the answer. We know that. War is the failure of diplomacy. One might think that war would someday become obsolete - that countries and people could sit down together and resolve their differences. But, each passing day, it seems the insanity gains just a little more ground. And each day, more innocent people die from the bullets and shells. Where is the peace? Stop the insanity.

3. War is something
Edited on Wed May-12-04 11:59 PM by seemslikeadream
War is something
That I despise
For it means the destruction
Of innocent lives

War means tears in
Thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go out
To fight to give their lives

War
Woah, woah, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again

War
Woah, woah, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing, hey

War, it ain`t nothing
But a heartbreaker
War, friend only
To the undertaker

War is the
Enemy of all mankind
The thought of war
Blows my mind

Handed down from
Generation to generation
Induction, destruction
Who wants to die

War
Woah, woah, no
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing

Say it again, war
Yeah, yeah, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Come on now

War, it ain`t nothing
But a heartbreaker
War, friend only
To the undertaker

War has shattered
Many young men`s dreams
Made them disabled
Bitter and mean

Life is too precious to
Be fighting wars each day
War can`t give life
It can only take it away

4. Say it. Say it. Say it again!
Agree with your words, kentuck. Why can't we live in peace? Why can't we work out differences diplomatically?

There are too many hot-headed, power and money hungry imptent bullies!

5. There's $$$$ in making the war machine go.
That and the control of resources are the reasons we send soldiers to be put in harm's way. The instant a way was found to make the same kind of wealth off of peace, the power-brokers will.
