Poll question: What if Zapatero ran counter to Bush or Kerry?
Edited on Wed May-12-04 08:03 PM by Cascadian
If it was possible, what if you had the new Spanish Prime Minister Zapatero run against John Kerry and George Bush? Who would you vote for?

Zapatero pulled all of his forces out of Iraq in the light of the tragic bombings in Madrid. He also supports gay marriages as well and saw through the end of military conscription in Spain. He is also a Socialist.

Kerry while has good intentions, seems to want to continue keeping our forces in Iraq but with UN and NATO help. A great idea if it were done a year ago. It is all too little and too late. It's time to get out of Iraq. It's time to rethink your Iraq policy, John.

As for Bush, I don't have to explain him to you all!

John

1. I picked Zapatero.
He has more guts than Wesley Clark or John Kerry combined. He is not afraid to be bold and desisive. We need more people like him in the Democratic Party. Where is OUR Zapatero???

2. Zapatero said his troops would stay in Iraq
If Iraq was placed under the control of the UN. Pulling out completely wasn't his first option, it was just the one * left him with.
