There are 1800 hundred photos
and we have seen something like 15. Yet today Senators say we have seen all there is to see in that the rest of the photos are repative. Now, that sounds out and out ridiculous. Either we have been doing the same things to some ungodly number of prisoners (which belies the idea that these are all the bad apples), or this is just a total lie. You can't convince me that well over a hundred pictures of each of these prisoners were taken. I am amazed at the numbers that I am reading. Even if you assume that some of these are vid caps and thus counted twice, this is an unholy number.

1. how many think we ought to watch the soldiers have sex
there is no need to put the porn flicks of the soldiers having sex with each other,. i understand a good number is that. no need. jsut give us what we did to the prisoners.

but i think they really want to put those out. thinking it is bull

3. what possible relevance would the sex acts between soldiers be?
I find it very hard to believe that more than a tiny portion of those photos are that.

12. I will try to find one (here is one)
Edited on Wed May-12-04 05:34 PM by dsc
but I sited a TV show, which isn't streamed live or anything. (Though not what I watched on TV.

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=542&e=1&u=/ap/20040512/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/us_prisoner_abuse

The estimated 1,800 images included many duplicates, as well as scenes unrelated to prisoner abuse. Some seemed to be scenes of everyday life in Iraq (news - web sites) captured on personal digital cameras by Americans far from home. But others showed consensual sex between Americans; one showed a U.S. solider shooting a camel in the head.

Evidently this explains some of it. Pryor estimated there are about 1000 non duplicative photos.

7. Rummy said there were worse photos to be seen.
A high-ranking Republican said "murder and rape."

Yet we aren't hearing that today. Either the Pentagon's "sample" of photos shown to the Senate was NOY representative of the worst, or this is more lies. Or both.

The photos will get out. They are shooting themselves in the feet again letting this story live for weeks, letting the photos trickle out a few at a time.

This administration is just so gosh darn stupid!

8. Shouldn't they just open a paysite?
Then use the money to pay for the troops.

11. I think the photos
will come trickling out sooner now that the Pentagon has said they won't be released. It's ridiculous to think that only a few cd's were burned.
