Could this happen???
Is it conceivable in light of recent events that the Iraq war-crimes tribunal would find Hussein innocent of all charges and set him free? Wouldn’t it be prudent for us to try him instead of Iraq.

Iraqi tribunal plans to receive Saddam by July
ASSOCIATED PRESS

KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait - The head of Iraq's war-crimes tribunal said Tuesday that the United States has pledged to hand over Saddam Hussein and about 100 other suspects to Iraqi authorities before July 1 if Iraq is ready to take them into custody.
----------------------
Chalabi said the suspects to be handed over include Ali Hassan Majid, known as "Chemical Ali" for his use of chemical weapons against the Kurds in the 1980s. Chalabi has said Majid could be one of the first to stand trial.
Tariq Aziz, Saddam's former deputy prime minister, also will be handed over, he said. Aziz is in U.S. custody but is not on the U.S. "most-wanted" list; it was unclear what charges he might face

2. No Saddam faces the fate of ALL Bushevik Patsies after they have outlived
their usefulness.

Oswald
Ruby
Wallace
Manuel Noriega
Salem bin Laden
Osama Bin Laden

Saddam is already a Dead Man Walking.

Not that he doesn't deserve it, but his atrocities are well down the list of why he's being Whacked.

4. Occupiers not liberators.
By recent events I mean more Iraqi’s are seeing Americans as occupiers not liberators.
