So is the Berg tragedy going to be used to "prove" al-qaida cells in Iraq?
That has been the spin I've heard all day. What is the truth value of such a statement? Were the killers of that poor kid really al-qaida members present in Iraq? Or did the murder take place elsewhere? No news story I've read has been upfront about this.

I'm just curious because this might make the war seem more justified to those who think we must attack Iraq b/c of 911 retribution...

1. They may want to exercize caution trying to advance that notion...
...they'd hate to see more questions being raised than answered methinks...

2. If there is Al-Qaida cells in Iraq they have come in after we started
our invasion. God only knows what is in Iraq now.

3. Al CIAda IS in Iraq.
If those big white guys cutting off the poor bastard's head don't convince you, then nothing will.

You would have to be a pretty big schmuck not to see that al CIAda is nothing more than a power elite construct for black op mass mind control actions.

4. You think what you want to think
Although the series of events preceding the murder does seem to be odd, that does not in my opinion warrant such a jump in conclusions as saying that the CIA did it. I see no reason whatsoever to think that as of right now.

5. This is merely the last in a long series of black ops that stink.
Including the Reichstag fires on 9/11.

6. I got the impression this morning listening to Imus
of the possibility not releasing the new photos and videos because of the beheading, would just lead to more horrors. Would they use that as an excuse and not put the photos out?

7. Got to hand it to the RW Talk show thought police
Every RW'er I heard today was saying the same thing... almost like it was from a script.

In Bizarro world, the Al-qaida talk show host Rusbar Limbaughsein referred to the Berg killing is the act of a "few bad apples" and a fraternity prank that went tragically wrong.

8. I have no doubt that al-qaida is in Iraq
bush has made Iraq into a haven for terrorists world wide. They now have both Afghanistan and Iraq as training grounds. Thanks bush.

9. I already heard it on the radio last night.......
some syndicated fundie talk show host going on and on about how this proves the link between Osama and Iraq was and is a reality. He said anybody that would deny the link existed in light of this beheading, is simply ignorant of the facts.
