The backward world of Punditry.

.1111 percent of America read the Plaid Adder, while 99.999 percent read the pundits at the New York Times, I:E Jody Wilgorn, Steno Sue Schmidt, David Brooks, Tom Friedman, William Safire, Katharine Seelye,....

Too me, that's whats wrong with America in a nutshell!

These numbers are not scientific and reflects the opinions of only those Internet users who have chosen to participate. The results cannot be assumed to represent the opinions of Internet users in general, nor the public as a whole.

2. That's my point...
We live in a assbackward world with no sense to it at all... You bring a world full of knowledge to our minds compared to these cozy, stupid ideolgically fucked up Ho's.

It's completely upside down..

4. Well, really, it's all right there in the @#$! report.
That's what drives me nuts. It's like everyone else never got beyond Part One. Yeah, I mean sure, the prisoner abuse is easier to sell papers with, but it seems to me like the real reason this investigation was probably started was that Sanchez had a wee inkling that Abu Ghraib was just a mess from one end to the other, and they were probably just as worried about that accountability stuff as they were about the abuses. And yet nobody on that committee asked anyone anything about the accountability problems.

Oh well,

The Plaid Adder

6. What I Just Heard
Taking my son to school...had the local "Hit station" on. Usually the morning goofs talking about who'd they'd like to lay or how trashed they got the other night. Occasionally they do a topical thing...like when a local nightclub had a stampede, they did a special show reading the names (ala Nightline) and have talked about AIDS and GLBT issues.

Today they talked about the Berg video. First, isn't it amazing how a video that hasn't been telecast has been seen by so many people in less than 24 hours??? One of the "hosts" went on a rant about how terrible it was and we've gotta get even with those guys who are killing "our soldiers"...like the ones in Fallujah.

ALL this regime's disinformation then came pouring out of this assclown. He went on about how we have to prevent "Iraqis from killing Americans and launching more attacks on the U.S.", also how we're helping these people...we got rid of Saddam and his torture (no mention of ours) and we have to avenge those that killed 3,000 Americans on 9/11. I was getting sick.

This is a program heard by thousands of teens...and the calls they took (I only heard a handful) were all "Yeah, you guys are right". Almost all said they had seen the video (so much for parental controls, eh?). One sweet sounding young girl called in saying how she "had to look away"...and how this poor "soldier" was killed because "our media was showing all those pictures of our "alleged" torture" (damn, do they blast fax 16 year olds now???).

I don't know what to think. Some coffee will surely help.

7. I've yelled this loud and quite often!
The single biggest danger to our society is the Media, be it in print, radio or TV. I sincerely believe that if Air America or Gores new liberal network fail, it could be the end of us. And I mean that...

8. We're So Busy Talking Past Each Other
I fear we've all been yelling this for so long, and feeling no one's listening that our yells are now flying past one another. Look at how high-strung things are around here that we can attribute to our absolute frustration with the media and how things have been going.

However, I'm not ready to run off a cliff. We have the truth and true goodness on our side, it will prevail as all the energy to expend all this evil has to wane sometime or another. I believe we live in a cyclical world and that we've reached a right-end peak that now means things will be going our way...and I suspect for quite a while. These bastards not only are burning the present, they're burning their bridges to the future. They are just too arrogant to see it yet.

Cheers!

9. 99.999 + .1111 = 100.1101
must be some overlap there.
