Hmmm? Hannity Had A Good Point Tonight With Russert.
Discussing the torture scandal in Iraq, Hannity noted that the media seems to be focusing on the actions of a few bad apples rather than talking about all the good things that are happening in Iraq thanks to the 140,000 soldiers who aren't bad apples.

Sean has a point. Why do people ignore all the good that comes from a president's policies, choosing instead to focus on the aberrations that occur in an administration? I know that's something Sean would never do, and we liberals need to change our ways and start looking on the sunny side of things.

If you need proof of a media person doing what they say to do, then I suggest you review tapes of Sean Hannity's comments throughout the Clinton impeachment. Sean was out there on the front lines, criticizing the media for focusing on a consensual sex act between adults, taking the media to task for not focusing on the hallmarks of the Clinton presidency: the roaring economy, the budget in surplus after years of rethug debt, the relative peace in the world, a United States that was well protected from various terrorist plots and, most importantly, a United States that was the envy of the world. You tell 'em, Sean!

Oh...wait...he didn't say those things during the Clinton era? Never mind...

1. Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...

2. Hannity has an hour every freaking day
to report all this "good news". He should stop complaining about it and report it if everything's so peachy over in Iraq. Hell, go there yourself Sean. Send us back your live reports of gumdrops and lollipops direct from Falluja. We could all use some good news these days.

3. LOL...
Thanks for the laugh. I wonder just what "good things" we could focus on? Dead young men and women fighting an illegal war, dead innocent civilians, growing hostility toward our country, billions of dollars that we cannot afford being spent to line the pockets of the wealthy at the expense of everyone else, the prospect of eternal war in the Middle east, the increased threat of terrorism.... wow, he's right. We should be focusing on all these good things.... oh and we can't forget the plastic turkey. What an achievement that was!

5. hes a propagandist
and we should use that definition anytime we use his name. Propagandist Hannity is a big part of the reason why this country has gone to the dogs in the past few years. I would love to see him brought up on serious charges and face a world court. His love of war and the propaganda was instrumental in thousands of lives. If there is a Hell he will surely have a spot waiting on him. How can people like him sleep at night knowing he did these things?.

6. wonder how far off his butt Hannity and Rush will jump today
over the beheading...

not to dismiss this latest horror...

but I seriously doubt that Limbaugh or Hannity or other reich-wing radio-heads will pooh-pooh it as "...blowing off steam..." or shrug this off as the actions of a "...few bad-doers..."

I expect that we will be seeing alot more beheadings and other equally horrible acts in the coming months
