OK DU scumbags, i needs me some guidance. I have that video. Yes, you know the one. Ive watched it and i must say that it is literally the worst thing ive seen. I can only imagine what it must take to perform something like that.

In any case, the question is:

Do i post it on my site?

Why? Because it might prevent another person from operating under delusions of grandeur about going to Iraq.

In the case of my brother being a dead soldier...I'd want everyone viscerally experience the glory of war. I'd want the image of his broken battered and bloody body broadcast mercilessly. At the very least people should be forced to witness the results of that which they so fervently support. It never ceases to amaze me that the American media feels it is their duty to present the war as some sort of Warner Brothers cartoon. I hazard to guess an accurate depiction of the carnage of war might erode 98% of the publics support for it.

11. Check your bandwidth allowance...

Apparently at least two sites that had it were so overwhelmed by by download requests that they either pulled the video very quickly or were yanked by their service provider for excessive usage.

If it were me, I'd hold on to it so that it doesn't just disappear and then maybe put it on your site at some future date for archival purposes.

And if you do put it, please, please, issue stern warnings, possibly including a link to discussions of the video, indicating how bad it is.

I have not watched it personally, but I have it. I encrypted it so I'd have to go through a few steps before actually watching it, which would give me time to re-think my decision. I would suggest forcing people through hoops like this as well...put it in an archive file or something.
