members as "DU", short for Democratic Underground,
is in fact, a covert DARPA operation overseen by John Poindexter,
who incognito, calls himself, "Skinner."
He is assisted in collecting the names and identities
of radical enemy non-combatants currently residing
in the U.S., by "Elad" more commonly known as John Ashcroft.
It has recently been discovered that serveral CIA and FBI
operatives assist in the TIA project as "moderators."
The web site was established by DARPA to gather names
and database information on US citizens who are
expressing dissent towards God's chosen leader of the
United States...George W. Bush.

9. OK, I'll bite. How do they matter? What difference do they make?

People are dying in Iraq every day, by the hundreds. Some are murdered by insurgents, some are murdered by American soldiers, some have unfortunate accidents, some die of disease or malnutrition or (the lucky ones) old age. Every one of them has a family, somewhere, who mourns their deaths.

The basic facts remain unchanged: the administration fed us false pretenses to justify an invasion, leading to widespread chaos and destruction.

There is an election in November, in which the Democratic candidate has a chance of unseating the sick fucks who got us into a pointless war. Between now and then, there are uncertified voting machines to examine, corrupt policies to oppose, and $200 million GOP campaign dollars to counteract. That has not changed. DU's mission, the opposition to bush's incredible corruption and thoughtless indifference to devastation, has not changed.

What is different now that another snuff video has been released by apparent Islamic shitheads?

Perhaps you're just a little too emotional right now to understand why, but your reference to the fact that the "Islamic shitheads" are only "apparent" explains why the video needs to be examined and compared to the claims made by the media and others who are using it for purposes that would inflame and incite further violence.

And what does their being Islamic have to do with them being "shitheads"? I would call them cold-blooded killers who took part in a conspiracy of some sort. So far there is not enough evidence to prove they were Islamic and several indications that they might in fact be on the BFEE payroll.

Suppose you could prove, and I mean really prove, that the video was a total sham. Then what? The people who are using the video to inflame and incite violence would just smear your character and dismiss your allegations as "conspiracy theories".

Meantime, you're still left with the questions of who did it, and why, and what difference does it make to us at the Democratic Underground who are trying to get bush out of the presidency and American soldiers out of Iraq. And if I may say so, unless your basis for claiming the alleged murderers are BFEE payroll is significantly more solid than what I've seen on GD so far, you don't have diddly shit to go on. Nada. I remember the Air Force One scandal -- "Clinton took the champaigne glasses", and I also remember how the GAO investigation showed that to be false.

If this administration will lie for the pettiest of political gain, they will certainly lie for global power adn unimaginable wealth -- with no regard for who they stomp on in the process.
