Freh Air: contracted interrogators: no official accountability
Tuesday's Fresh Air was really good - a guy from the Brookings Institution helped try to sort out the accountability issue for private contractors - it seems that officially, the companies are only accountable to their contract, and the company's employers are only subject to their employment - ie, they could get fired or docked pay.

Also stuff about how neither the Pentagon nor the contractors, CACI and TITAN cleared the background of interrogators - in one case the employee's former qualifications were "truck driver".
