or at least that is what FOX News 8's ITeam would have you believe. Evidently there are some male prostitutes working a local park. I typically purple prose we heard of all the awful things they were doing IN PUBLIC. What can I say? It's sweeps. What would sweeps be without portraying gays as "Perverts in the Park" which was the title of the report. Sorry no link.
Imagine what someone ends up thinking of an openly gay person they may barely know after that report.
I liked it. It reminds me of Chicago, but smaller. I wonder what park the story was about. I used to go jogging in a park on the lake that was very nice.
To hear the press tell it, this one park was just OVERRUN with rampaging hummasekshuls. The funny thing is that I visited that park all the time -- it was where we went to walk the dogs and I never saw anything untoward. Of course they busted one unfortunate couple in a restroom which got lots of attention so the mayor posted a cop outside the restrooms and "closed the park" at sunset, which was ridiculous wince it was wide open spaces but I guess that made it all better.
5. For Christ's sake do these assholes have anything better to cover?
I went to college in Cleveland. Are they talk about the park near Lakewood by the lake? (forgot the name) A friend took me over there and mentioned in passing that it could get real cruisey... yeah whatever...
This story is just fear-mongering, hateful homophobic propaganda.
but actually that park (Edgewater) runs the length of Cleveland. Of course only a small part is cruisy but they made it sound worse by having the whole park in there report.
Edgewater! That's the park, yes, I recall seeing a few 4th of July's at Edgewater but closer to downtown. Also, one would think things would be cruisier over by Lakewood... I mean duh!
