Hackworth on Scarborough
Edited on Tue May-11-04 09:24 PM by PaDUer
Hackworth discussing what happened today to Berg, says 911 started the big pix, slammed planes into bldgs where innocent civilians having coffee, and weren't enemy combatants. Scarborough said this is what you deal with when dealing w/ terrorists. Apparently he tried to get Hackworth to agree with his comments.

However, Scarborough started the show off by saying "this is what the senator from Massachusetts doesn't get"......

Inhofe and Scarborough slamming Kennedy for saying that Saddam's torture chambers are open but under new management.

1. Inhofe is
unpatriotic! I heard him today at the hearings. He had no intention of trying to find out what went wrong at the prison.

2. My husband was very impressed with Hackworth.

He was watching and said that Woody (I think Joe looks like Woody from Toy Story) was trying to get Hackworth to say that Berg getting his head cut off doesn't make us look bad and Hackworth would buy into it. Mentioned that we didn't stoop to the Nazi level during WWII. We should have maintained honor.

Edit: Wasn't Hackworth the one who helped break this story to CBS? Didn't he get the soldiers family in contact with a CBS representative?

6. They keep saying the same story and I am sorry but I don't see it
playing out the way they are trying to make it play out. With repeated phrases like "it is only a handful" and "investigations were started immediately" and "blah, blah, blah". They are trying to force an outcome that I just don't see happening. I think in the end, this is going to the top.

Shouldn't they stop digging?

BTW, every time Woody opens his mouth it is "when I served in congress". It is sooooooo old.

10. The Big Dog was GREAT!
Oh, do I miss him!

He makes me so proud to be a democrat! What he said about "Washington" and 9-11 was sooooo true. I am glad he is stepping up to the plate. I hope he does some campaigning for Kerry. I would be the best thing in the world. Fingers crossed!

7. All for a few political points with busco.
He puts our troops in harms way, claims the torture really isn't that bad, all for political points. He is an embarrassment to all people with a sense of decency.
