Just Read The Article "Broken Engagement" By General Clark
And as I was reading it I thought that it would be impossible for Bush to have written such a well reasoned paper. And then in a moment of terrifying reflection I came to realize that the god damned idiot not only could not have written it he could not even read it. What a shame we have this idiot in office.

1. Clark
Clark's effing brilliant, eh? We need this guy to be VP. Imagine him, the general, demolishing Cheney in a debate. Imagine him busting Bush down like a drill sergeant. He'd be a perfect attack dog.

3. Such Clarity, not soundbite "clarity", like the chimp
but honest to God thought out clarity and actual understanding of the dynamics at play:

We must also recognize that here, the neoconservatives had it backwards: The "road to Jerusalem" didn't run through Baghdad at all; rather, until real progress is made towards resolving the Israeli-Palestinian issue in a way that respects both sides, all American efforts to work within the region will be compromised.

4. Nor could anyone
in his mis-adminstration.

Clark reads. Clark is capable of critical thinking. Clark is able to connect all of the dots on a global scale.

I do believe that people like Bush because he is simple. That's how they want their world to be. Simple. Unfortunately, wanting does not make it so.

6. Going to send it around
to my friends too. Having lived through the Cold War, I did not see the big picture - just the big news stories as it unfolded. This was a history lesson as well as outing this PNAC administration very eloquently.
