Liberal Christian Resources

Somebody posted yesterday asking for books about liberal Christianity. There were some great suggestions and I'm looking into to purchasing a couple of titles--especially Tom Sine's books. I just wondered if anybody else had any good books to read on the topic.

I come from a very conservative Repuke family--all Christians. I'd like to be able to dispute some of their positions but need to figure out where to start.

Any book suggestions?

both very good. And you might read some of the older ones--Tillich, Rahner, Dorothy Day, Neibuhr.
