Keith gets in another zinger!
Keith: What was the worst example of out and out lying to the studio, home audienance?

Guest: I would say what happened during the six months before the invasion of Iraq was the worst.

Keith: Ah.. different kind of game show..

GHOD I love that man!

2. It'd be cool if he could move to Air America
Countdown is well-suited to radio -the format is pretty identifiable with radio listeners, and with experience as a former sportscaster, Keith can definitely come up with intelligent and witty dialogue. Plus he has a great voice.

5. The guest was Richard Bey. He had a gig on WABC radio in..
NYC. He was cohost with that repuke Steve Malzberg. Richard tried to give bush the benefit of the doubt after he stole the election. He disliked Gore and the Clintons and said so repeatedly. Especially since he was employed by a rightwing radio station. Richard was very anti war and spoke out about it vigorously on WABC. He was left shorty after the invasion of Iraq. I don't know if he was fired (probably) or left on his own. He just disappeared.
