I keep thinking about Berg's parents. |
|
I just ache for them. To lose a child in any way is horrific but to know they suffered an excruciating, painful and terrified death is just beyond comprehension. I know there are political issues here but first and foremost we have some very devastated people who will barely be able to face the rest of their lives. We need to keep them in our thoughts and prayers (if you pray) or send positive vibes (if you don't).

1. I feel the same way. Did they really hear this for the first time from a |
|
journalist that was camped out on their front lawn? Another question. Is it true that we refused to trade prisoners for his release?

3. It wouldn't matter to me. I agree that you don't trade with terrorists. |
|
Those murderers are probably just using manipulation with their rationale. I feel very badly for his parents. Death is always difficult to deal with, but such a violent death is a horror to live with. We need to pray for this family.

2. they didn't want him to go |

From what I read the father tried desperately to convince him not to go to Iraq. I wish he had listened. This whole day's events (from the terrible execution to the dishonorable Sen from OK calling Iraqis murders and terrorists) has left me quite shaken. I don't really pray but all my thoughts tonight go out to all the victims of this illegal and immoral war (Iraqi and American). Scott

using his death for their own gain sickens me. :(

It's bad enough to lose a child that way, but to have it recorded on video is nothing short of hideous.

for them. This is just so awful. Argghhhh! What has this country got itself into?!
What angers me the most is this fake moral outrage coming from the freeper types...as though this sort of brutal killing wasn't to be expected after the recent allegations of torcher and abuse.
