WHY DO I FEEL THAT SOME DEMOCRATS ARE SELLING OUT..
Who comes to mind LIEberman (God and this man actually did think that democrats would have voted for him, can't phantom the thought)suppose you do have loyal staff that will do anything to blacken our eyes, but this is not the surprise for the real surprise was seeing General Clark standing shoulder to shoulder with the auld enemy, C'mon General, this is election year, which one among your staff that would have come up with that idea...oh just stand there General no-one will notice.....well you should do the Honorable thing and tell that staffer or adviser to go for a very long holiday, tell to take as much time as they want because I can tell you that we sure do notice that.

It strikes me that the very thing that hard, loyal democrats are fighting against is actually embedded among us. Now I know the reason for that miserable mid-term election performance. While ground roots Dem's are working their "BLOCKS" off we have people like yourself and LIEberman undermining the process, how many more of your kind are there? We know " Joe the Kangaroo" hoping here and there, but you Sir hmmm.....left to the imagination.

2. Lieberman could almost make me glad that Gore got rooked.
I was imagining today a vice-president Lieberman and it wasn't pretty.

3. Don't like the General, huh ?
Too blunt for you? Feel threatened? No one has spoken out more against this Adminsitration or more strongly in the last year. And we do not live in the time or have the luxury to criticize those on our side for their past deeds. It is too important.

7. I visit another board where they don't like the idea of the General...
...being the VP candidate either. They act like it scares them to death thinking about Cheney with his 6 draft deferments being matched up against Clark. I am kind of looking forward to that matchup myself.

9. I agree- I saw Clark this morning on MTP and he was great.
I think he would be an excellent choice for Kerry's VP.

11. Temptation is always very high for people in positions of power to sellout
Edited on Sun May-09-04 04:35 PM by w4rma
Always. There is very little personal gain for honesty in politics and a lot to lose. I think that it would be best for us to help out the Democratic politicians who aren't selling out, as much as we can, rather than focusing on the ones who do sell out.

And, most importantly, use the primary process to get rid of sell outs.
