Edited on Sun May-09-04 03:50 PM by mopaul
thank you very much george. it almost seems....naaahhh. well, hell i'll say it, it seems like maybe the whacky bushco crowd is almost DARING osama, or sadr, or just anybody who 'hates us for our freedom' in the middle east to attack us again.

after 9-11, many of us wondered, 'why do they hate us'? it's a damn good question. i wonder if it has to do with our barbarian military policies all over the world, going back decades? i wonder if it has anything to do with all the bombs we've dropped on 'brown skinned' people, and people who just happen to be islamic and innocent?

i wonder if 9-11 wasn't revenge for the mass slaughter of iraqis that hasn't stopped since daddybush took office. or if it was get back for our unbalanced support of israel over palestine? or our parasitic relationship with saudi kings and princes, and our arrogant claims on all the oil in the region?

i wonder if 9-11 wasn't provoked deliberately by bushco, much in the same manner they are now provoking the hatred and vengeance of the entire islamic world?

2. Without a doubt. The people of the Middle East felt sorry for us after
9/11. Now most of them think we got what we deserved. They hate us all, they don't seem to be differentiating between the American people and the bush* administration.

And the phony 'apology' that pResident dumbshit gave didn't help. He forgot that he was supposed to be humble, instead he was in his normal arrogant, sneering mode. The guy is a menace to all human life. Someone here put up an excellent article about what motivates the jackass. How he's purpously dumb and about the life-long poor relationship with his father that motivates him. Well read that article. You'll understand why he's pushing these people into another attack.

3. odds may be higher than you think
yes the terrorists will attack again, this is not an "if" situation it's a "when"

but the odds are not just high because of the anger being directed at us, the odds are higher because bush*'s numbers are in the cesspool

he needs another attack so he can parade around and play follow the leader

his numbers are lower than they were just prior to 9-11

4. Oh geez, don't you get it?
They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

They hate us for our freedom.

How many times do we have to tell you? Stop thinking so much and just believe like a good american, OK?

8. LOL. We're so free it hurts sometimes.
We're so free, some of us are more free than others.
We're so free, justice is bought and sold on the free market.

9. You must have missed the obit....
George W. Bush, Karen Hughes, and Karl Rove regret to announce the untimely demise of the phrase "They Hate Us Because of Our Freedoms." Although the catchy phrase showed great promise, apparently it was greatly affected by the death of its sister phrase "Mission Accomplished." While "THUBOF" lately began demonstrating the same symptoms of irrepressible press laughter at its utterance, the death knell was sounded after the publication of the now infamous torture photos from the Iraqi prison.

It is reported that surviving sibling phrases "Evil Doers" and "Axis of Evil" have recently exhibited symptoms of disorientation and confusion, but are in stable--though guarded--condition.

11. Thanks for telling me
I was wondering why they hated us. It's now all so clear. That Bush should go into public speaking, he has such a way with words.

7. Stormy weather coming on
With the pictures and videotapes of how well we treat prisoners, with the phoney apologies, with the chimps poll numbers sinking, we better be on our guard. Yes it's not if, but when.

10. I have noticed bad news for bush = attack warning, well, here it is...
right on schedule! They are soooo predictable.

Threat of 'Dirty Bomb' Growing, Officials Say

VIENNA — Concerns are growing that Al Qaeda or a related group could detonate a "dirty bomb" that would spew radioactive fallout across an American or European city, according to intelligence analysts, diplomats and independent nuclear experts.

Although safeguards protecting nuclear weapons and their components have improved, experts said the radioactive materials that wrap around conventional explosives to create a contaminating bomb remained available worldwide — and were often stored in non-secure locations.

Detonating a dirty bomb would not cause the death and devastation wrought by a nuclear weapon, but officials and counter-terrorism experts predicted that it would result in some fatalities, radiation sickness, mass panic and enormous economic damage.

Intelligence agencies have reported no reliable, specific threats involving dirty bombs or nuclear weapons, but senior U.S. and European officials and outside experts said several factors had heightened fears in recent weeks.

12. The first to reap the rewards of pain will be our captured troops.
It is OUT OF CONTROL due to the GOP and their pet Bush

If they stay in Power, it will only get much worse.

13. Another attack -
I think the Bush* misadministration has everything to lose and nothing to gain from another attack inside the US.

Another attack inside the US would definitely undermine any sense of "they are protecting us at home" rhetoric that this misadministration might be able to sell to the uninformed.

Whatever your opinion of 9-11-2001, LIHOP, MIHOP, or simply missed it; another attack would be unspinnable, unwinnable, and untenable.
