"Trickle down economics, or...
Why is George Bush* peeing on my head?"

My cousin is a retired high school biology teacher. Because she needed to supplement her retirement income, she went to work at the University of Kentucky's (disease) Prevention Research Center. It was funded entirely by federal monies through the Center for Disease Control. Until last Friday.

The funding has been cut, because we are bankrupt. Now she is out of a job.
But we got our tax cuts. Oh yeah, we got 'em.

She voted for Bush* last time. She is relatively naive when it comes to politics. But she understands this. She won't be voting for him next time.

The unintended(?) ripple effect of trickle down. I bet it's pretty widespread. I think it will help elect Kerry. That is my fervent hope.

1. "trickle" may be too strong of a word
I think the top may be just whizzing on each others' legs.

6. OK, Jack. I like tinkle-down much better.
I'll pass it on.

3. Our surplus trickled into a few deep pockets. Nothing trickled
down. Nor did I expect it to, but why are we always at the mercy of the gullible vote?

This country could have been a better place by now, and the world at peace if it wasn't for the misguided who believe every lie told to them by the GOP.

5. Skimming economics.
Sometimes, things get going too well, there's just too much cream floating around in the milk, and we get the "skimmers", i.e. Bush & Co come along and skim the cream off the top. They know it won't last, so they have to work quick, but 4 years is plenty. Eventually the democrats will rise again and get the economy going again.
