1. Never knew about this excellent show until it appeared here ...
... at DU as a "Listen Live" button on the forum homepage.

Quality discussions with quality guests EVERY week.

2. I'm really happy to hear that you like it
I'm actually the producer for the show (which explains why I'm often promoting it here on DU). Next week we have Janeane Garofalo followed by Arianna Huffington. If you're interested, for weekly updates on upcoming guests and background info goto the MM page and joing the mailing list.

Thanks!

3. In the short time that the show's been a button here, I've become a ...
... regular listener.

Thanks for your work on the show.

4. I love show, too! McChesney should be on all the time
how come he can't get on gasbag shows?

Rich Media, Poor Democracy is essential reading.

it shows why things are the way they are, how they got there, and a wishful man's means to get to where we need to be in this corporate media-fascist state that threatens to subsume the entire planet

5. Agreed
Reading Rich Media, Poor Democracy greatly contributed to my career path.

Glad you like the show. I've been trying to get it syndicated, but given the format, it's not that easy.

In the meantime, we offer our archives as MP3's for anyone to use as they like.

6. any time......whenever the subject comes up, I mention that book
people have no idea how bad things really are, especially those who cling to the liberal media myth

and thanks for having Jeff Cohen on

didn't realize he was part of the Donahue show.....interesting dissection of the way things went on his illfated MSGOP show

hahaha....."studio too small to accommodate the three hundred right wingers necessary to provide "balance" a guest like Noam Cbomsky"

btw, I went to UofI

long live Ruby Gulch!
