it is John Negroponte, the old friend and confidante of Poppy Bush. Recommended to son, Junior, as the man that knows how to squeeze the information out of unwilling witnesses, etc, Mr Negroponte has been chosen to go to Baghdad to replace Bremer because of his experience and special abilities. He built his reputation in Honduras and Central America during the Iran-Contra scandal. His closest friends, besides Poppy Bush, were Elliot Abrams and Ollie North and John Poindexter, who it should be pointed out, all came back to work for Junior in his Administration.

And now, Negroponte is chosen to go to Baghdad? And he's not going to be the "nice guy". He plans on getting results and if there are WMDs, he will find a way to get the information...
