1. I love watching them
not for their politics, but for the way they act so married. They're funny.

21. Of course they act partisan
I mean, no two people could be any further apart politically. She was a protege of the evil Lee Atwater. He's a dyed in the wool Democrat. But, they'rer married and are able to put politics. Not that politics doesn't dominnate a large part of their lives, because it does.

I suspect they've had some huge knock down-drag out fights over politics. But they've obviously agreed to put politics aside when it comes to being a family unit.

3. Carville: general Karsinki (sp) said we need more troops and
he was rejected. This is a decision made at the highest level. What we see in the prison of something that was not thought or planned.

4. Russert: question of the approval of Bush. 46% disapprove, 47% approve.
This is the first president doing something about global war on terror we have to transform a REGION. we have to stay the course.
What is the alternative to this policy? There is no alternative. It is long-time, hard times.
Kerry is not the answer.

6. Does Bush deserve reelection:
Who would you elect:
Bush 46%
Kerry 42%
Nader 5%
Carville: Kerry sees a problem and fixes the problem.
Kerry's position can do nothing but improve as we go along.

11. Carville: Kerry IS a man of conviction. (my question: why does Russert
always mention the negatives of Kerry and the positives of Bush).

She is so full of shit I wish James would just deck her . on edit. They just announced that Matlin is selling a book. Otherwise who gives a shit about their opinions on torture. Torture would be living with either one of these idiots.

13. NYT mentioned by Matalin. This "liberal" paper is causing more problems
for us than can be described.

14. seems sick and twisted to me that they are together intimately
but it raises very interesting issues of where one's political and private lives diverge, if at all.

maybe Carville enjoys literally fucking the republicans.

i find matalin revolting on an intellectual, moral and physical level.

my gut tells me she knows better, and serves the interests of BFEE anyway.

16. Do you notice that Carville's face has matured
into something kind of funny and appealing; Mary's face is developing into a sour, repulsive mug.
The more I see repugs and democrats on TV I notice the "Dorian Gray" syndrome: Repugs' faces as they get older reflect the sickness in their hearts.

20. that's an interesting observation.
when watching television news, i find i can almost always peg a politician by party before I see them identified.

there is definitely a general republican "look," and it aint necessarily pretty.

17. I find the act
stale and old now. It's like Kabuki theatre. I really cannot stand Matalin. She looks and sounds like a witch.

Carville is cool...kinda wacky at times, but that's no prob. I really don't know what the hell he sees in that nasty woman.

19. The important part of the program was the first half,
Lindsay Graham (fascist repuke bastard) talking about Iraq being a potential Dunkirk an General Clark talking about a massive Iraqi uprising possibly booting our asses out of their country, the tide is rapidly turning:toast:
