Give in to the madness
The view from the outside is awful. What a sickening, corrupt, egocentric, militaristic, empire loving, morally inept country this is. Trained to believe in it's wholesomeness and destiny. While the New Rome disperses it's tax paid armies to concur the worlds resources in the guise of national security, and it's population willing suckers for the prizes promised, why shouldn't we be cheering for the demise of our own created monstrosity?

The silly reality is, the world would be better off without this super powerful hegemonic paranoid nation. A nation cheering the brutality of the weak and struggling others.

I won't shed a single tear if this country loses all it's power, economic and militaristic, and allow more humane systems to flourish.

The world is saying loud and clear that they are not interested in resembling what we have become. But empire has no interest in listening.

sometimes I wonder how long ago we lost the America we have been thinking we are all this time. The 1800s? Defintely before big business started sucking on the government's teat.

We are NOT a good example. We are a HORRID example. It is apparently ok for US to have weapons of mass destruction because we are.....better? Bigger? Had them first? Can blow all you suckas up? Assumed to be on a higher moral ground and thus can be trusted with them?

A bunch of shite.

I have come to the realization over the last few years that my morals and my country's actions are at complete odds with each other.

3. But then there is us...and you realize that you are not alone.
And that-together- perhaps we can do something about it...and make things right again.

4. True true
just the fact that I KNOW there are people in this country who feel as I do (a lot actually) makes me feel better.

BUT, but we HAVE to effect real change. Substantial change, from the inside out.
