what will be bush's fate after the next terror attack they say is coming?
all of our very top government officials have stated repeatedly that it's a matter of when, not if. they insist that another attack is a certainty.

and now, with the extra added dash of lunacy and accompanying photo horror show, it's a GUARANTEED CERTAINTY.

i've overheard a lot of people ask this question. will the people rally around him again, our great homeland securer, or will they come after him like the movie 'dawn of the dead'?

1. In case no one has figured this out yet about 9-11....
...Bush either Let It Happen On Purpose (LIHOP) or Made It Happen On Purpose (MIHOP). So we need to BBOOP (Boot Bush Out On Purpose).

2. Hopefully enough people are awake now
to know who the real terrorists are. I do not think even bu$h&co would dare try something that stupid now.

3. here's my .02
i'd bet people here in the states rally 'round bush. it WILL show that terrorism isn't going away. the administration will then say more funds are needed and more troops are needed as well. people will buy into it. more fighting will occur and thus continuing the cycle of terrorism . . ..

6. "Terrorist Attack" as pretext for Martial Law and No More Elections
They wouldn't get much of a bounce in the polls from another attack and they know it.
They'd only do it as a pretext for declaring martial law and calling off the elections.

Of course they'd rather just steal the election:

8. sadly, i agree with you.....
this administration needs "terra" to keep the sheeple in line. what's going on in the middle east right now almost seems calculated to keep the cycle going.

5. 'Murikins will "rally" just as they did after 9/11. Rove knows it.
That's why I worry that it could happen just before the election. Then their message can be "support our commander-in-chief". Or "we can't change now". Or campaigning for an opponent is unpatriotic.

7. Hopefully, he will be at the bottom of a smoking crater
and we can all rally around the flag draped stretcher.

9. Two way spin
Here's how they will do it:

The Flying Monkeys say that America is safer under Bush -- obviously, because there have been no terra attacks since Sept 2001.

But they are also quite capable of turning this 180 degrees and saying, "See? Didn't we tell you its a dangerous world that we need Bush to protect us from?"

As for how people will react -- Bush's "leadership" during a crisis has already been experienced, and people have also seen how he has responded strategically, and he has been shown as deperately wanting. I predict "Dawn of the Dead" scenario, at least among 1/3 of Americans, very much unlike Sept 2001. You will NOT see the unity we saw then, no way.

10. I think they already tried something

...to smother this in the news. It was the recent explosion near Sinuiju, N. Korea. The hole in the ground looks suspiciously like an earth penetrator.

The theory is that it was meant to start a war with a N. Korean attack in response on Seoul. That would be followed immediately by a huge draft, to bail us out of Iraq. The regime knows that they can't use a draft before the election to dominate their middle east quagmire. They needed a more immediate and blatant provocation.

Everyone is saying that the attack in the vicinity of the historically and strategically significant city was an accident for their own reasons. It is speculated that the Chinese would rather see the American regime twist in the winds over Iraq rather than give them a reason to bolster themselves militarily and politically.

Of course, this is only conjecture. Why, Cheney would have to be crazy to try this. He did say just a couple of days before the explosion to American troops, while in S.Korea that we would destroy the vestiges of oppressive regimes in the world. The next day, Pyongyang described him as a "madman."
